*NEVER ALONE* Full length documentary coming later this year! After years of struggling with mental health, unaware that resources were available, I received an unexpected call from the government offering two years of free therapy as an apology for losing court case files detailing the abuse I endured as a minor. This call resurfaced painful memories, undoing years of healing and forcing me to confront the past I had worked so hard to forget. Before long, I found myself returning to the only form of therapy I had known - running. My goal with this project is to raise awareness for organizations like the wirthhats Foundation, who provide free therapy to those in need, so fewer people feel alone with their mental health struggles. Me and my new pal thelifeofdev are on a mission to bring this project to life, with a full feature film coming out later this year. The film will not only showcase my journey leading up to cocodona250 Sedona Canyons 125 (200km), the event itself, a deep dive into my past growing up and the struggles I endured over the past 40 years on earth. I also have another even bigger run planned for later this year - but you will have to wait for that announcement. It hasn't been easy opening up in front of the camera, but I feel so grateful to still be here and wanted to make an impact helping raise awareness about the resources available to those who need it.
